Our team is excited to introduce our long-awaited reveal of PawSwap, an automated market-making (AMM) decentralized exchange (DEX) for the BSC network. The project is in final development and going to meet you guys soon. Let’s spoil some interesting info here!
What are the key competencies of PawSwap?
PawSwap is a low-cost AMM among its BSC peers. In the hope to enhance the experience of PawSwap and make it more popular, we lowered the swap fee rate to 0.2%, cutting the cost for traders. The swap fee will be used for the liquidity provider yield and our PAW token buyback, which means the team does not share any portion of it. It’s built by DEX traders and built for DEX traders.
Pawswap is an NFT-integrated DEX. It is playing a role as an experiment for an innovative utility of NFT where it explores the wide use case of NFT as the NFT ecosystem has gained huge adoption this year. At the first stage, we focus on redesigning NFT as an alternative governance token to participate in staking, liquidity farming, and governance privilege.
There will be no pre-sale, no VCs, and no pre-mine. All PAW tokens are for the community and we only reserve a small portion for the future DAO (Tokenomics will be revealed later). We decided to initiate a fair launch. Every BSC address, no matter if it indicates a small fish or a giant whale, is equal on the decentralized blockchain, and has the same importance to PawSwap.
PawSwap is a DEX connecting metaverse and real-world kindness. As we love Doge, Shiba Inu, Alpaca, and all kinds of animal species on the blockchain space, we should also protect the living rights of these creatures in real life. We plan to donate part of the income from PawSwap to animal conservation organizations, continuously contributing to a better world and better lives of multi creatures.
Besides PAW token, what’s MOAR? — NFT Integration
NFT integration is the core feature of PawSwap. Unlike our DEX peers, we have both NFTs and PAW token for governance. Initially, we have implemented two key types of NFTs, the Master NFT and the Tribute NFT. In a simple word, the NFTs are staking-to-earn privilege. In our long-term plan, 20% of total PAW token emission will be allocated to Master NFT holders and Tribute holders will gain a boosted yield from liquidity farming.
We have designed the first series of Master NFT to be five cute kitties in different breeds referring to the prototype in the real world and each of them has their own stories and characters. Holding Master NFT is just like raising a cat master and you will be able to earn the stake-able PAW token rewards passively. Moreover, there will be specific governance only for Master NFT owners. More fun can be explored around our NFTs.
Tribute NFTs are the key items to boost your master’s energy. It’s designed as a series of daily cat food. The Tribute NFTs allow you to produce more PAW tokens based on your liquidity positions.
All the NFTs can be obtained through the PawStore launching event. Some special NFTs can only be minted from the mystery boxes. All NFTs with limited quantity and the sales only last for a certain period (To be announced). Don’t miss the chance to mint yours!
Why do we name it PawSwap?
When we had our first team meeting, it was the meme moment. Someone asked why there were dogs like Doge and Shiba trending the most, where are our cute kitties? Then comes along our aha moment since we found everyone in the team had a cat! We know the cat is instinctively sensitive to environmental uncertainty and crisis, they can show claws instead of paws in tension. It’s the trust based on the daily connection that we, fortunately, have the chance to see and feel their paws. Paw is the greeting from every common and tiny living, and we should protect and give back this trust carefully and respectfully, just like what we should do in PawSwap.
Of course, PAW stands for not only kitties but also all crypto native animals, and PawSwap will be a courtyard for DOGE, SHIB, FLOKI, ALPACA… We hope all PAWs in NFT to be a vivid virtual life, to be a crypto companion, leaving paw prints along with our on-chain activities.
